In 1999, with the establishment of many lifestyle and vineyard developments throughout the region, Philip Higgins saw the need for fencing solutions to suit. He subsequently established Higgins Fencing Contractors, specializing in all types of fencing on many different types of terrain; providing an efficient quality service using specialty machinery and technical team work.
A fifth generation farmer, Philip understands the habits and movement of stock and this experience enables him to provide the best possible fencing outcome to ensure that both stock and people needs are met. The design and construction of yards for various animals is an integral part of the business as is the overall fencing layout on a property.
Other fencing contracts range from sheep, deer, boundary, waterways management, tree protection and windbreak fencing to horse arena’s, driving orchard and vineyard posts, vineyard wiring, security and residential fencing, sports safety nets and child-proof safety fencing. The Higgins fencing team undertake a monitored training programme so that all work is performed using the safest and most efficient methods and to ensure that all production is carried out the “HFC” way. Over the years Philip has established strong relationships with loyal suppliers so that clients are assured of receiving a professional job reflecting best value for their capital outlay.
